Frequently Asked Questions

  • Gold Lion Pilates requires members to cancel/change their class reservation at least 12 hours before the start of class. Changes can be made directly in the Gold Lion Pilates App or the booking section on our website (please note that changes/cancellations via email, social media, or phone are not accepted).

    If you cancel less than 12 hours before the class start time, it will be considered a “late cancellation”. Late cancellations will result in the loss of the class from your membership or package. Unlimited Memberships will be charged a $10 automatic Late Cancellation Fee.

    Failure to show up to class without cancelling a reservation will be considered a “no show” which will result in the loss of a class credit and a $20 automatic charge to your credit card on file.

    Due to GLP being a small studio with 8 reformers, this cancellation policy will be strictly enforced to ensure fairness and accessibility for our members.

  • Gold Lion Pilates kindly asks that our clients show up on time for their scheduled class. It is strongly encouraged that new clients arrive to the studio 5-10 minutes early for their 1st visit. Late entry will not be permitted to 1st time visitors.

    If a client is more than 5 minutes late, they will not be allowed into class (no exceptions) and it will result in a loss of the class credit.

  • If a class you’re interested in taking at GLP is booked, we recommend signing up for the waitlist (there is a great chance you will get into the class). When you book a waitlist spot, you will use a credit on your account to book the session. If you do not make it off of the waitlist, you will be automatically credited back for the session to use for another class. You will be notified via email up to 1 hour before the class if you made it off the waitlist- so if you sign up for the waitlist check your email regularly up to an hour before class to see if you got into the class. If you sign up for the waitlist and get into the class and then decide you cannot make it, it will be considered a “late cancel”.

    Signing up for a waitlist is committing to be available with short notice to take the class.

  • GLP requires all sessions be paid for up front to secure the appointment within 48 hours of booking. If the appointment is not paid for before the 48 hour mark, the session will be cancelled and that time slot will be given to another client. You will be responsible for cancelling or rescheduling your appointment before 24 hours of the session time (see cancellation policy). Failure to cancel within this window will result in the loss of the session.

  • GLP requires all group class attendees to be 18 years or older.

    If under the age of 18, a private or semi-private session with a parent present may be booked. Please contact the studio for more information on booking a private session.

  • Athletic attire, water, grip socks.

    We have everything you need to buy/borrow in the studio if you forget any of these items.
